The photo was accepted. It was an old one in black and white. It showed a river with flood gates partly open. The river was in partial flood and the water needed managing. Just under the surface of the water an object his becoming partly visible. It was curved in shape and shiny. The sky was blue with clouds. Light illuminated it and it almost glowed. Few things in nature were as shiny as that. The river long ago when clean under direct sunlight. Now the water was brown. Where the object was it looked fresh. Such was the brilliance of the thing. What was it? The image was taken by a passing man. It was something else. Unique like the meteor landing in the volcano. People immediately knew what this thing was but few actually said. It was an alien flying saucer emerging from the depths of the river outside the city. It moved slowly so not to upset the current and deep water. A few hours earlier and nobody would've seen it and the world be unchanged. Where was Juniper's Daughter going? Another galactic joyride saving the world?
