Alba Girl Ring
A young lady was swimming
In the sky blue sea
Just off Alba's northern shore
It was early in the morning and the sun was low
It promised to be a lovely day as always
For Alba was a paradise and it was heaven
She wore her goggles and dove downwards
She managed to descend eleven metres
Before air exhaustion drove her upwards
But before she fled to the surface
She saw something sparkling on the bottom
A glint where there shouldn't be one
The sea bed was gently reclining sand
She made a decision and spent five seconds
Five precious seconds of air getting what it was
Risking a black out but it was fine
She got it whatever it was!
As she rose upwards
She watched the sand fall away
In her cupped hand was a ring!
A lovely sparkling shining gorgeous ring
It was breath catching and extreme
She broke surface and breathed and shook her head
What have I found and whose is it?
How can this be?
From a swimmer like myself?
There was a name on the inside
If the swimmer girl only knew the truth
She soon would do...
