Endless Mourning

Endless Mourning

Seven months on after she had left him after the death of her father it still gave him sorrow. He did his best to move on from her and them. Two and a half years of it. Other people had been affected. His long term gay husband had felt totally betrayed. Plus his female friend of seventeen years was now so distant. The gay husband had been betrayed while the romance was going on. The long term friend after it had ended. She had fallen in love with the bisexual man. She was one his rebounds. He swung both ways. He was open minded hence his precious romance with his girlfriend. She had been fine that he took it up the butt and had a gay husband. It was when her dad died she pushed him away while full of grief. It was normal and expected that she would talk to her boyfriend and depend on him. Instead she did the unthinkable. She became a stranger. No signs of intimacy communication or love. Grief stole it all. He was heartbroken too. There was little he could do but mourn her dad’s death and the loss of their relationship. He tried to reach out to her. She ignored his messages and invalidated all he said. Heartbreak was everywhere. He resigned from his job. His savings were enough to get by on. His gay husband was still furious. Oddly their sex was even better. His female friend said Hi now and again but was a stranger. As was his long term girlfriend. She showed him no emotions or gave him any gifts. Not even a candy. How had it all gone like this? The girlfriend realized she was living a lie. The grief triggered this and so began the descent into madness. Her ex had a pistol. A shiny silver one with a pretty varnished handle and dum dum bullets. He put the gun in his mouth and wondered what death felt like. Tears fell down his face. If he pulled the trigger it was over. Three people would mourn him. He was this way for two hours. Endless weeping. His emotions were now numb. It was time. He had decided. He pulled the trigger…
