An hour call to close it
He’s fine for now but here comes
June and the same crap starts again
Chasing the numbers on and on and on
Get the sales to keep your job!
Travel When
Will the writer ever get to travel abroad again
To the places he wants to write about
Complete his travel book get it published
Make some money from that project
Enjoy learn experience travel observe
In whatever order they happen
Cretan bamboo Thai mountains Dutch beaches
Time will tell if and when this is possible
Till then he dreams of far places
And the book it will create
Hot Air
It was hot in Vietnam
The fan moved the air about
A futile exercise
For the air remained warm
In the hot small room
The inhabitant moved away
Went to live in Iceland
Took the fan with him
He camped on a glacier
His fan was with him
He used it with a battery
It still blew hot air about
On a freezing glacier
This was fine!
It was a good camping trip
Wait till he told his friends
Hot air on a cold glacier
