me writing journey

​Here is a bit about me. I have 30 years of my writing. I started in April 1996. I was 1st published November 96 in an Alanis Morrissette zine. This was poetry and I wrote several times a week and sent work off. I was rapidly published in the Small Press in the UK in the 90s. Think of magazines/zines/anthologies. A broad range of publications and poems. I was 1st published online in 03 with a poem. In 07 I worked with an editor on 4 books printed poem/short story collections. I paid for his services and he was very good. He taught me a lot. I went indie then self publishing my work as he showed me. I did many books and do to this day. I had an American ebook publisher in 09/11. I had several ebook sales of romance/erotica/horror etc. I left after edit issues. And continued to do my work solo, all of it. Research/write/edit/covers/promote. 

I want you to look at my case and situation and see if this is even possible. I do not write fantasy series books like or romance novels. as a stand alone genre. My work is broad under several pen names. I am not one size fits all hehe. Just now I am working on a poem book and a short story collection (Riga book 7). And more files set up to work on, poem wise. 

I have several blogs where I promote my work too. I will include links. I am in work now in Manila where I have lived for a while. I am English. Writing is one of main interests as is tattoos, aviation, hiking, etc. I often write about these and other things. My books are ebook and printed on the usual sites like Smashwords (now D2D), Amazon etc. I used Lulu before but stopped due to publishing issues. 

I had pages and a group on Meta (FB) but they were kind enough to delete my accounts in October 2026. I deleted my own pages years ago after my previous author account was also deleted. I use rival sites like Mewe/Bluesky etc. I network with several big selling authors on Bluesky. They ask about my writing journey. It's very different from their own. 

Please take a look at my books and myself (sellers/politicians sell themselves and their pitch/products). Sales is an issue. Why I emailed you after my mate mentioned it and you. We can see what if anything can be improved.

The question is, how to promote my alternative writing books? This is where you com in. I am a non-conformist and do my own thing. You can tell my end result on my books and sales hehe. Over to you. Thank you.
