The guidelines below are intended to help authors and publishers maximize the distribution of their erotic content; help avoid crossing lines that would be detrimental to their publishing career and avoid publishing content that would cause account related issues with retailers, partners, and Draft2Digital. These guidelines are subject to change as vendors update their content guidelines, rules, and expectations.

Rape erotica and sexual slavery erotica, where the predominant theme is rape violence for titillation is strictly prohibited (including, but not limited to, non-consensual, dubious consent, coerced, blackmail, forced, sleep sex, hypnosis sex, mind-control sex, etc).

Bestiality, in any form, is prohibited.

Incest and pseudo-incest (sexual relations among non-biologically related relatives and siblings which can include non-related partners who use familial terms, "daddy" for example), ABDL, Age play, necrophilia, or pedophilia/underage sex are all strictly prohibited. In erotica, children or underage minors cannot be engaged in sexual acts or situations, or described as witnessing sexual acts or situations.

"Barely legal" erotica is strongly discouraged, and is subject to additional review and may be removed without notice at the sole determination of Draft2Digital, especially if characters are in situations - or have mannerisms - that suggest that the characters are actually underage.

Any books that includes nudity or excessively objectionable or crude content, or aim to harm or slander any individual or culture based on race, religion, or any other cultural signifier are not permitted or published through our service. Nazi Propaganda and pro-Nazi symbolism is not accepted. Books need to comply with all legal requirements in any location where they’re made available to buyers. It’s your obligation to understand and conform to all local laws where your book is offered or sold.

We recommend that book descriptions and titles for erotic literature be kept clean. Excessive profanity, or descriptions of sexual acts in book descriptions may lead to further scrutiny and review, or blocked distribution or removal from Draft2Digital.

If prohibited content is not properly flagged, identified, or if erotica content is not properly categorized, this can be grounds for blocking the publication on all vendor store sites or further account probationary actions. Discontinue submitting any prohibited or objectionable content immediately to prevent further action on this account.
