Gaiana did fail. She lay dying in a pool of blood. Elleswyth spat on the almost dead Goddess and stomped past to the edge of the sky world. Then she launched herself into space. "Here I come Cernunnos. Revenge will be mine, again."

She felt herself hurtle down, falling through the chill of the upper sky, her skin fading to white as the cold bit into her limbs and goose bumps ran across her bare skin. The blue planet fast approached and she wind milled her arms to slow her descent. The planet shuddered as a shock wave circled the hemispheres when she broke through the atmosphere and landed gently feet first on the yellow sands bordering the furious seas. She looked around her. She had not been followed. Elleswyth glanced at her tattered bloodstained clothing and grinned. She whispered to the white waves, immediately they gentled and she slipped off her tunic and slipped naked into the heated waters.

Cernunnos peered down from the edge of the clouds and smiled to himself as he watched her float on the tide. A rattling from behind stopped his observations and rising excitement. He bit his lip and quickly scurried behind a fire and smoke damaged column. Pooling blood sparkled under the starlight and gently floated into the air. Drops hovered in a blood cloud over the prone figure of Gaiana and then fell with sudden force. Blood smashed straight into the Mother Goddess' heart, instantly racing round her twisted limbs. The cuts and slash marks disappeared. Then her legs flexed and straightened. Finally, the reenergised blood rushed through her chest and arms. A severed finger crawled over and reattached itself. Lastly, she grabbed hold of her face and pulled it to the front of her body. She sat up and pulled her head upwards so it re-sat properly back on her neck. Gaiana then laughed. She chortled and the columns toppled, plaster and brick falling down onto the worlds below. Ripples ran across space and time. Elleswyth felt the plaster shards hit the sea around her with such force that they pierced the cowering waves, creating huge whirlpools. Elleswyth cursed as Gaiana laughed, "You can never kill the Mother Goddess. I am the eternal mother."
