Emerald Time
Riga was on a mission with three her operatives. They were hiking over a peak to go and rob a safe in a remote cottage. One of her team had plastic explosive to blow the safe lock. A second provided security with his weapons. A third kept a look as and acted as scout. Riga was in charge. All were treated equally. Riga was only small. She was strong stocky and curvy. She carried a pistol and combat knife to use if she had to. Her brain was her greatest asset. Her physical bits were also to gain advantage. She did what she had to do. They camped out for two days and ate simple food. On reaching the target location they laid low and waited. The inhabitants’ movements were plotted. They would be eliminated. While waiting Riga allowed the three male operatives to enjoy her. This brought closeness and trust. All would die for her. When it was time two of her team went to the cottage. They waited in the dusk shadows. When the three inhabitants emerged they were simply killed with knives and piano wire. The safe cracker went inside to do his work. Riga observed it all. She gave orders over a secure radio link. The safe was old but sturdy. Explosives placed at strategic points opened it. When the smoke cleared the door was open. Inside was the prize. It was uncut emeralds. Rough ready oddly pretty in the fading light. Riga pocketed some in her combat jacket. The rest were divided up among her team. All were equal and trusted. This was why they always succeeded. Satan's new soldiers.
