My book is about a witch Juniper's Daughter. She has a job she must do. That is to fight Satan and win the longest war in human history. The witch uses a flying saucer she once found. She also has her spells and help from her mother. Satan is her opposing force. He uses a slave called Demang down on Earth. He takes several different forms and is a cunning adversary. The battles they fight are both mundane and vast. In the end who will win? Some are detailed here in this volume. The lack of direct dialog is intentional except in the scripts and final story. That will be in book two.
Beautiful Machines
It was the future. Juniper’s Daughter was in Manila. The witch saw the young soldier. He was beautiful. With coffee brown skin jet black hair a bit too long, green army combat trousers, freshly polished black boots. He was buying a train ticket to travel to the war zone. She knew he would be killed by dark Satanic forces unleashed by the Devil. He needed fresh souls for Hell. Juniper’s Daughter knew all this. She did a simple protection spell to always protect him. And if that failed she arranged with Mother Juniper for him to be reborn as he is now but spared the horrors of war. She had to always defeat the Devil. Beautiful soldiers like this would be manipulated into doing evil destroying and killing. She couldn’t save them all but promised to protect and save this one. Even if hundreds of millions had recently died. This fight she was losing. The new Army Of Darkness was winning and that was meant to be impossible.

Time to use her flying disc for real fucking war. Demang was a Red Chinese CCP General now and still weighed four hundred plus pounds. How was it possible? She would soon fucking fix that! Her laser weapon fired and sank ship after ship of the CCP Navy and splashed dozens of warplanes from Red China’s air force. She made sure to kill all the crew and pilots. Then she went after their bases. All of the South China Sea, West Philippine Sea, Hainan Island, Hong Kong, the mainland. All of them burned vividly like the sun! Demang would lose as would his master Satan and Juniper’s Daughter would win as would Mother Juniper. Demang may be a superb general but he never had access to an alien flying saucer! That made him weak and the witch strong. He did not control the military balance.

On the Red Chinese mainland the bases were blazing incessantly. And it wasn’t America or NATO. It was Juniper’s Daughter. Demang was at once base she hit in the remote mountains. He ordered his laser guns to lock on and target the witch. They fired and hit her disc. He smiled then grimaced. Her shields were up even if she was visible. No good just a pretty refracted light show. His tech was good most of it stolen but hers’ was better; it was age old or alien. The blue laser beams fired several times and stopped. Juniper’s Daughter raised a middle finger from her control seat and laughed. With a flick of a switch she fired her laser. Three small laser cannons units flared orange and exploded to flame. It was laser versus laser and Demang with his commie forces lost. Their tech was stolen and based on what they thought her craft’s laser was capable of. They had no access to the weapon’s actual hardware so were just guessing. The witch fired again and turned the burning units to ash. With a nudge the witch flew over to rocket storage sheds and concrete structures that houses three types of anti-ship rockets and missiles. These had sunk several American, Allied and other nationality ships. Juniper’s Daughter was disarming Red China bit by bit. Soon they would only have chopsticks and gunpowder rockets to use! It was a shame she had been too late to stop their nuclear exchanges with America and India. Satan won there but she would win the war.

The fat general remembered back when he almost won. Demang engaged the Indian forces. He ordered his communist forces to deploy to the high flat mountain plateau and on two peaks. They were three miles high a mile above the level ground. Indian forces were dug in with ice caves and natural rock positions. With Pakistani military help they almost pushed India away from the border so both Red China and Pakistan could divide up the area. It was strategically important if very remote and climatically dangerous. He had attacked with both surprise and massive firepower. Indian casualties were large and his were negligible. So what went wrong? The Devil told him. The witch had channelled battle instructions and tactics into the minds of the Indian officers. They hit his Red Chinese and allied Pak forces at their most vulnerable points. And so he lost. What did he learn from that? He realised that Juniper’s Daughter unseen capabilities were more dangerous than her physical effects with her laser on her stolen alien craft. Her witchcraft and spells were powerful but their effects were different though still dangerous. Demang needed to think out of the box here. Red China had copied and made lasers that worked as weapons but were useless against her flying saucer with the shields up. What if they could copy and make flying saucers? Was that the key to defeating the witch?
