Older Times

I prefer the simpler world

Life was slower back then

When people used a radial dial phone

They sent letters when stamps were cheap

And used pen and paper to write

And watched films on TV

None of this high tech crap

No internet or email

No touchscreen smart phones

No gizmos killing our privacy

I liked and preferred that simple world

Not this 21^st Century Big Bro state

This is why I live in the past

Awash in my memories

And old photographs…
