The rep had 0 sales for the last 3 months and 2 NTEs with a third on the way. His TL said ABOT Always Be On Transition. This was the Fronter passing the call to the Closer correctly after sending the details. The Closer approved any promotions like 0 dollar rentals and the 30 day free trial. He also had other ammunition to use like a Manager’s Discount which lowered the cost several more dollars.

 

The Fronter was fine at talking to DMs and getting their details and doing a Needs Assessment. His glaring weakness was agreeing to a call back and rarely passing the phone to his boss. His boss could close them and get him a sale.

 

This was why he had no sales for 3 months. In the 2 months before then he had 7 and 5 respectively. He needed a return to the old days or he was out of the account.

 

He decided to focus more on ABOT for this would save his job and generate more sales. Even with the ration of 4 to 1. This was for every four customers passed to the VT (Verification Team) only 1 sale successfully went through. This was due to no cash on the card or banking restrictions.

 

The Fronter had to turn his performance around in the 4 days remaining in this months and also next month or he was off the account. It was as simple as that. As his OM said like or dislike you numbers don’t lie. It was ABOT or die.
